I'm a fine artist and have a first class honours degree in Fine Art from Bradford School of Art. In 2017 I graduated with a distinction for the MA in Visual Arts, also in Bradford.
Originally from The Netherlands I have now lived and worked in West Yorkshire since 2000.
In my work I use CCTV images I find on the internet and my own photographs of everyday life around me. I use these images of overlooked and anonymous places as a starting point for my art. My work gains ambiguity in the process of creation.
I use found materials such as scrap metal, wood and leftover household paints, as well as oil and acrylic paint, transfers and collage. With my work I want to strike a balance between figurative and abstract forms.
